Everyone needs to stop what they're doing so they can marvel my new pokebeast! [Guess who's Zorua egg just hatched after basically never taking her nose off it. Terezi's Zorua, that's what!] I'm not sure what to name it! [She doesn't even know what gender it is yet, but it is content snuggling into her lap right now.] But it will have the perfect name! Once someone tells me what it looks like exactly.

Speaking of looking and not having the ability to do it. How do you get better at catching these things. I think I've lost more pokeballs throwing them into trees than actually catching anything! I'm not really interested in catching trees, to be honest! Unless it is a nice tree that could fit a proper hive into!

Just the other day I was trying to catch one, but I had to beat it because Dave stopped trying to help me after I threw the first pokeball! How rude. He just kept making these really sad dying noises and not being very helpful. It also sounded like he was lying on the ground for a really long time. Obviously, I need someone who won't sleep on the job when I want to go catch more pokebeasts. I was looking forward to catching my first one, but there's always today and the next day for that. If I'm not careful, Pyralspite won't give them a chance to be caught, so I hope it's soon.

[As for if you're around town, Terezi is actually getting around. She taps her new cane as she walks. She's already got into the habit of keeping her Pokemon out of their balls. It was more convenient for her because they can nudge her leg if she starts straying into places she shouldn't be. She also hasn't started marking them so she can tell them apart. Plus, she just likes them walking with her versus keeping them cooped up inside.

Today she is intent on training! And maybe catching pokemon even!]

I don't mind helping you catch things! But maybe we should train one of your pokemon to sort of...hm. Maybe a zubat or a flying type, who could fly towards whatever-it-is and vocalize, to give you a target?

I don't have a zubat or a flying type right now Aradia! Maybe it might be easier for me to raise eggs instead, but that probably costs more than what I have.

I'm not in a rush! I will train what I have in the time being. Maybe I should work so I can pay for good eggs so catching isn't too much of a problem.

Working is pretty fun, I think! I've been working as a waitress - Sollux usually helps out at Pokecenters, fixing gears and whatnot...I'm not actually sure what most of the others do, just the ones I travel with. But I'm sure there's a job that's perfect for you!

I'll find something that will work for me. It would be convenient if I didn't have to find something so specific to me, but this place obviously has no intention of being on my side.

It's more a matter of finding something you like, I think. I like waitressing because I get to talk to a bunch of people, and you hear a lot that way.

It all worked exactly as it was meant to work! But that doesn't always match everyone's definition of properly, no.

That's always been pretty true, though! At least, by most people's standards it has gotten more dumb the more we found out. I think that is pretty much something most people agree on!

That was dumb. I mean some of them were valid but most of it was useless dying!
